Sinead Galligan is the founder of the Modern Healer Academy, and one of Sydney's most sought-after Reiki practitioners, with a year-round two-month waitlist.

But her path to this work didn't begin in a classroom. It began in a doctor's office, where she was told she had an irreversible autoimmune disease, and that falling pregnant naturally was unlikely.

She didn't accept that as her story.

What followed was years of turning inward, turning to natural healing, and trusting what the medical system told her not to. She is currently reversing her autoimmune diagnosis. She fell pregnant naturally. And she built one of Sydney's most loved healing practices from the ground up.

She also brings over a decade of formal training and lived experience in trauma, mental health, and counselling, which is why her sessions and her teaching go far beyond what most Reiki training ever touches. She holds space for the whole person, the nervous system, the emotional history, the story that lives in the body.

Now Sinead is on a mission to train the next generation of healers properly. Not just with attunements and techniques, but with the confidence, the ethics, the intuition, and the embodied presence to genuinely change people's lives. And the skills to build a practice that lets them live on their own terms.

She knows what it means to be told something isn't possible. And she knows exactly what becomes available when you stop believing that.
